[Private RP between Bakura and Seto]

He was still a bit tense from their previous small altercation. Even as things seemed to be relatively ironed out between them, there remained some residual wariness on his part. It was difficult for the darker Bakura to let go of any sort of anger, and he had been rather displeased with Kaiba when they'd last parted.

Even though they'd spoken since then, and appeared to have made amends, he couldn't help but be a little cautious. It was instinctive.

He still managed to keep from pacing, though, in the confines of the apartment that he still shared with his host. At least outwardly, he remained exactly as calm as usual, as he waited for Kaiba to arrive. And even despite any sort of wariness, he was looking forward to the meeting. They always seemed to be rather entertaining.

At least people have gone back to whatever it is that passes for normal around here. It's not been of much interest, so I can't say that I've payed much attention to how anything is doing. There've been no real problems, anyway. And it seems like I might be having even more free time now. Perhaps I'll have a chance to get something useful accomplished, at any rate.

Distractions are just things to be removed.

"Like the night, it's a secret, sinister, dark, and unknown--" [Sep. 17th, 2006|07:09 pm]

The small things, at least, seem to be taking care of themselves. And if everything else continues with that trend, it won't be so bad.

Of course, most things need a push in some general direction.

...That doesn't give anyone an excuse to be so fucking dull, though. People need to come be more entertaining. Die, or something. Or do something that's worth paying attention to. That shouldn't be hard, should it?

Everytime I think the city can't get any more boring, it ends up proving Me wrong. I should almost give it credit for being able to do that.

People should provide more entertainment, if they're going to be around at all.

...and why the hell am I listening to this song?

"Here among the sewer rats, a breath away from Hell--" [Aug. 4th, 2006|03:43 am]
[Current Mood |determineddetermined]

Heh... it's almost amazing what a bit of rest can do. And a shower. I almost feel alive again. Or as close to it as ever, at any rate.

Nothing's gone to hell without Me, I hope?

Sorry for abusing your hospitality, Kaiba. I unfortunately felt I was needed elsewhere. Next time I'll try to leave you a nice note.
